Precious Soul,

To those of you who have blown it big time,

we are not here to condemn you,

but to offer you hope.

Hope that is found in Jesus Christ.

May our words be a source

of comfort and encouragement to you

as you go through this difficult time.

What To Do When You Know You Blew It

Last night I saw you weeping,

wetting your pillow softly with your tears.

We are all capable of blowing it big time

in a moment of great opportunity.

Come to Me, My precious child.

One of the hardest thing we have to live with

is that gnawing sense of deep regret.

It weighs heavily on our hearts and in our minds.

Although it's difficult to forgive others,

it's even more difficult to forgive ourselves.

Last night when I saw you weeping,

I longed that you would sense My presence,

but your disappointment in yourself clouded out My presence.

How I longed to comfort you!

Tears of regret will never erase the memory of the past,

nor the love I have for you.

Nothing you can do will make Me love you more

than I already do.

You are so precious to Me.

Although you may not understand it now,

everything that comes into your life

has been sifted by My loving hands.

I will only allow it if it can be used for your good

and ultimately for My glory.

Come to Me, My precious fallen child.

Although you may live with the consequences of your sin,

you need not bear its shame.

My strength is made perfect in weakness.

When you are weak, then I am strong.

Dear Soul,

We have all blown it big time

in a moment of great opportunity.

I know I have!

But thanks be to God He didn't leave us to die in our sins.

He has provided a way of escape

through the precious blood of His Son,

so that all who will believe on Him might be saved.

The Scripture says,

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

               ~ Romans 3:23

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,

and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,

thou shalt be saved. "

            ~ Romans 10:9

Don't fall asleep without Jesus

until you are assured of a place in heaven.

Tonight, if you would like to receive the gift of eternal life

first you must believe in the Lord.

You have to ask for your sins to be forgiven

and put your trust in the Lord.

There's only one way to heaven and that's through the Lord Jesus.

That's God's wonderful plan of salvation.

You can begin a personal relationship with Him

by praying a prayer such as the following:

"Oh God, I am sinner.

I am sorry for my sin.

I want to turn from my sin.

I receive Jesus Christ as my Savior;

I confess Him as my Lord.

From now on I want to follow Him.

In Jesus' name, Amen."

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

                          ~ Romans 10:13

"According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world..."

                          ~ Ephesians 1:4

If you have received the Lord Jesus as your Savior

after reading this invitation, please let us know.

We would love to hear from you. Your first name is sufficient.

We'll leave the light on for you...

and would like to encourage you to find a local church that you could be a part of

to help you grow in your new walk with Him.

Also, we encourage you to develop a personal relationship with the Lord

by reading the Scriptures and praying to Him often.

Talk to Him as you would talk to a dearest friend.

He desires that closeness and intimacy with you!

"He shall feed his flock like a shepherd:

he shall gather the lambs with his arm,

and carry them in his bosom,

and gently lead those that are with young."

"If I could sit beside that ten year old girl on the swing in the park,

what would I tell her?

I would tell her she is beautiful.

I would tell her that she's loved.

I would tell her not to be afraid when the road gets bumpy,

because she is never alone.

I would tell her when she ends up in a psychiatric hospital

its just another stop on the path,

a place to learn not to be afraid,

to lose what seems to matter

because she will find exactly what matters.

I would tell her if she falls down she will get back up again.

I would tell her that God can be fully trusted

with her hopes and dreams, her fears and her failures.

I will tell her then:

Swing as high as you can."
