Your First Days In Hell

"Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming:

it stirreth up the dead for thee,

even all the chief ones of the earth;

it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

All they shall speak and say unto thee,

"Art thou also become weak as we?

art thou become like unto us?"

Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols:

the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee."

~ Isaiah 14:9-11

The worm shall feed sweetly on him;

he shall be no more remembered...

~  Job 24:20b

"Where the worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

~ Mark 9:48

***

Surely thou didst set them in slippery places:

thou castedst them down into destruction

How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment!

they are utterly consumed with terrors.

~ Psalm 73:18-19

"And they shall be gathered together, as prisioners are gathered in the pit,

and shall be shut up in the prision...

They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust.

~ Job 17:16

"I am counted with them that go down into the pit:

I am as a man that hath no strength.

Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave,

whom thou rememberest no more:

and they are cut off from thy hand.

Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in the darkness, in the deeps."

~ Psalm 88:4-6

***

"But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest,

whose waters cast up mire and dirt."

"There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked."

~ Isaiah 57:20-21

"When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit...

I will make thee a terror, and thou should be no more:

though thou be sought for, yet shall thou never be found again, saith the Lord God."

~   Ezekiel 26:20a,21

"Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone,

and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup."

~ Psalm 11:6

"Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire;

into the deep pits, that they rise not up again."

~ Psalm 140:10

And shall cast them into the furnace of fire:

there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

~ Matthew 13:50

And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit,

as the smoke of a great furnace;

and the sun and the air were darkened by reason the smoke of the pit."

~ Revelation 9:2

"And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus,

that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue;

for I am tormented in this flame."

~ Luke 16:24

***

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God;

and the books were opened: and another book was opened,

which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things

which were written in the books, according to their works."

"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it;

and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:

and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.

This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book was cast into the lake of fire."

~ Revlation 20:12-15

But wait!

The very fact you're reading this says you still have time

to accept the Lord Jesus as your Savior.

Now is the time.

Today is the day of Salvation.

The Scripture says,

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

                  ~ Romans 3:23

Soul, that includes you and me.

Only when we realize the awfulness of our sin,

and feel the deep sorrow in our hearts

can we turn from our sins

and accept the Lord Jesus as our Savior.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,

and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,

thou shalt be saved."

                   ~ Romans 10:9

Don't fall asleep without Jesus

until you are assured of a place in heaven.

Tonight, if you would like to receive the gift of eternal life

first you must believe in the Lord.

You have to ask for your sins to be forgiven

and put your trust in the Lord.

There's only one way to heaven and that's through the Lord Jesus.

That's God's wonderful plan of salvation.

You can begin a personal relationship with Him

by praying from your heart a prayer such as the following:

"Oh God, I am a sinner.

I 've been a sinner all of my life.

Forgive me, Lord.

I receive Jesus as my Savior.

I trust Him as my Lord.

Thank you for saving me.

In Jesus' name, Amen."

If you have never received the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior,

but have received Him today after reading this invitation, please let us know.

We would love to hear from you. Your first name is sufficient.

Come, everyone who thirst, come to the waters...

            ~  Isaiah 55:1a

Jesus said unto her,

"Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again,

but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again.

The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

           ~ John 4:13,14
